The rooms were clean, simple, and no issues whatsoever. The food over in the pub was a simple menu (typical pub food) but nice quality.
The rooms had to be evacuated just prior to 7am due to a fire alarm, which seemed to be a false alarm from over-sensitive equipment... Don't expect a lie in!!!
Beds were too soft. One of the twin beds was unacceptable. The hotel was gracious and we switched rooms the last night we stayed.
Thanks for the quiet
Room 4 door lock and taps need attention
The breakfast was very good and substantial. The owners are very friendly and the pub has a nice atmosphere.
A bigger television would be nice.
Great location, nice village & good parking, room is fine, No toilet paper in room which was sorted straight away when i asked ...
Stayed on a sunday night no food at all in hotel/bar, and none in walking distance apart from takeaways.....had to drive back into town...
location, clean and tidy room
Eurovision song contest showing on the TV in the bar.
Location was good for my purpose, parking good ,room big enough, comfortable, excellent shower
The ease of using it. Arrived and straight in the room.
Didn't offer anything for an early breakfast
It was a friendly atmosphere the Landlord and Landlady was very friendly. As we were meeting up with family that had already booked it was convenienant also in the 1960s it was our mums local under a different name as we all lived in Emmbrook.
The only thing I would say against is they only do food on certain days unless you book in advance ( I think) but the breakfast was very good.
Convenient and reasonably quiet location. Accommodation in pub annexe next door rather than in pub itself. Good shower.
We had to pay extra for breakfast (not cheap) which turned out to be limited in choice and poor in quality. It was eaten in bar area - would have preferred a separate breakfast room.
Freedom of choice as the hotel was seperate from the pub we were left to our own devices and as we were visiting family in the area this suited us to a tee.
Great Food, especially the fish n chips - make sure your hungry :o)
WiFi access was not working, a common fault according to the locals
Very close to my family only stayed one night.
Unfortunately there was no toilet paper and no one around to ask so it made it a bit uncomfortable.
Good and safe parking space.Nice breakfast and reception very good.
If there could be drinking glasses in the rooms that will be good.
The room was clean however the lamp was broken and the wifi that was advertised was not working.
The lamp was broken, the wifi didn't work, we were told when we booked the room that food including breakfast would be served in the pub, when we arrived in the evening after a 6 hour drive we were told that they weren't serving food at the weekend. When we wanted to check out at 9am nobody was contactable to give our key to so we had to leave it on a table outside.
